The Phoenix chapter of Girls in Tech (GIT) will host an inaugural gala Friday, August 20, 2021 from 5:30 to 11 pm at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa At Gainey Ranch. The black-tie fundraiser celebrates GIT partners, sponsors, students and other community organizations supporting the education and empowerment of women and girls who are passionate about technology. The funds will be used for scholarships and outreach programs.
Registration will begin at 5 pm and the evening will include dinner, entertainment, dancing, tech talks, an award ceremony and mingling with Valley tech leaders.
Guests will enjoy a keynotes from Wim Stocks, Head of Partnerships & Commercial @ Belong Gaming & Vindex , an accomplished leader in the esports, gaming, and entertainment industries, and Michelle Cirocco, Chief Responsibility Officer,Televerde, an award-winning social impact leader and recently named as one of the Phoenix Business Journal’s 2021 Most Admired Leaders.
Generous event sponsors include McKesson, Marsh, SAP, Nextiva, Ideas Collide, Amazon, VMWare + Dell, Carvana, Delphix, Vincent Benjamin, Axon and Sue Gniadek.
Award categories include CIO/CTO of the year; diversity, equity and inclusion company of the year, and most innovative company in Phoenix.
